Canadian American actor Patricia Summersett began her career with figure skating in a small town in Upper Michigan. With a dream to pursue competitive ice dancing, it eventually led her to Quebec where she discovered her passion for stage, screen and voicework.
Having always loved video games, it led her to working on numerous projects from indie to AAA. Just recently she was announced as Princess Zelda in Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. She has also provided full performance capture for two assassins in the Ubisoft series Assassin’s Creed (Hope Jensen/Galina Voronina). Other selected titles include: Rainbow Six: Siege (Ash); For Honor (Knight Warden); Far Cry: Primal (Wenja) for Ubisoft; Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for Eidos, Suikoden Tierkreis (Diadora/Servillah) for Konami and rumors of a new project with Spearhead Games.
You can also find Patricia in the Syfy world where she has portrayed Cmdr Patty Winger in Ron Moore’s Helix S2. Other TV/Film credits include: CBC’s Bellevue, Go90’s Lost Generation with Katie Findlay, 19-2 (Bravo/CTV), Emma (BBC), MAZ by filmmaker Federico Hidalgo and The Saver by Wiebke Von Carolsfeld. She was also the official “Onset Smurf” representing Smurfette, Vexy and Clumsy as a voice/puppeteer for the making of Sony’s Smurfs 2.
Patricia has also performed in theatres across Canada, the US and the UK. She has been nominated for three META/MECCA (Montreal English Theatre/Critics Circle Awards) for “Best Lead Actor” and has been featured in roles such as Rosalind in As You Like it, Jacqueline in Trench Patterns (a captain with PTSD), Jill in Equus, Pinter plays and as the title role in Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler.
When she’s not onset or in studio, she returns to Upper Michigan to sit with her family by Lake Superior. She is also a songwriter and singer for a band (Summersettband.com) in Montreal. Patricia loves to travel, share fan art, practice stage combat, and she can invent a mean cookie and a bad joke, sometimes simultaneously.
